The last visit of the NTUA and Medochemie teams to the FAL facilities in Duiven, the Netherlands, marked another important milestone in the project.

Following the successful completion of the second demonstration phase, the pilot system has delivered positive results and demonstrated its ability to operate under different industrial conditions, treating different wastewater streams and targeting different active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

During the visit, the teams coordinated and prepared the transportation of the pilot system from the Netherlands to Medochemie in Limassol, Cyprus, where the final phase (10/2026-02/2027) of the project will take place.
